Untitled 11:11 Announces Collaboration with Artist Jill Lear and Stylist Aidyn Crowe of It Girl LLC

Untitled 11:11 is collaborating with artist Jill Lear and stylist/producer Aidyn Crowe for their upcoming Fall/Winter '09 collection.

New York, NY, January 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Untitled 11:11 is collaborating with artist Jill Lear to create prints for their upcoming Fall ’09 collection. The design duo of David Peck and Laurel Anderson fell in love with Jill Lear’s drawings and paintings at a private showing of the artist’s work this fall. The graphic line work and organic nature of Lear’s subject matter are a perfect fit for the eco-conscious fashion line.

Untitled 11:11 is also teaming up with celebrity stylist Aidyn Crowe and her production company It Girl LLC to produce the sophomore presentation of their collection. The presentation will take place off site during Mercedes-Benz fashion week in NY at a yet to be announced location.

Untitled 11:11 is the combined effort of David Peck and Laurel Anderson. The line mixes European high fashion influences and American sensibilities with a healthy dose of humor. The debut collection was shown this September in New York.

David and Laurel are committed to adhering to ethical and environmentally responsible business practices. They are passionate about manufacturing close to the source and using Fair-Trade, eco-friendly, and American products whenever possible. David and Laurel’s zeal for “green practices” in their work stems from a desire to integrate these values into their own lives and offer the benefits to their customers through their designs.

David and Laurel met in Paris while attending Parsons-Paris School of Art and Design, where they both majored in fashion design and gained experience at fashion houses such as Junichi Hakamaki and Paco Rabanne, under Patrick Robinson.

After graduating and receiving the coveted Designer of the Year Award, David went to work for Robert Normand, a rising star in the indie French fashion world. He recruited Laurel to assist with two of Normand’s collections, further cementing their friendship and initiating their work relationship.

After Laurel graduated, she moved to New York to broaden her outlook and experience the NY fashion scene. She has worked as a costume designer and as an Assistant Designer at Kai Kühne.
