Star-Studded "I'm Good" Video Shoot and Youth Forum

Atlanta, GA, January 26, 2009 --( ( Dr. Allean Varnado-Lang (Mother of Rapper/Producer Daz Dillinger and Aunt of Entertainer Snoop Dogg,) Empty Vessel Music, The Atlanta Dream Center, and Hip Hop Grows Up, Inc. have joined, to invite the Atlanta-city public to be a part of a major music video shoot to inspire growth, positivity, and change-as-needed in youth in their efforts in education. The event is called the "I'm Good Video Shoot." The event will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Atlanta Central Park, 400 Merritt Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30308, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

The community is invited with priority seating and the general public, on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition to the video shoot, there will also be a youth forum held, entitled "The Village Affair" uniting parents/guardians, youth, and educators to discuss the opportunities to improve youth in their educational efforts. This session will be held during the taping of the video, from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm. Much of the discussion may be captured for the actual video. So we ask that the public come prepared to state your opinions and pose your questions. The panelists for the forum are Ms. "CeCe" Morris - Founder of Hip Hop Grows Up, Inc. and On-Air Personality for WQVE, Mama Pain – Mother of T-Pain, Ms. Umi Smith – Mother of Mos Def, and Dr. Allean Varnado-Lang, Gospel Singer and Mother of Daz Dillinger and Snoop Doggs aunt. Other surprise and well known personalities will also attend the event. "The Village Affair" will be hosted by Empty Vessel Music and Hip Hop Grows Up staff.

This program is hosted by the Atlanta Dream Center and brings Free music education, appreciation and intervention to children in underserved urban areas.
