Jeru Tillman Presents "DC Nite" at the Legendary Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip, Tuesday January 27th
Los Angeles, CA, January 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- DC Nite is part of the Jeru Tillman Presents "Showtime on Sunset" series. The series, dubbed the Around The World Comedy Tour was created to expose comics and the cultural flavors of different regions and cities. Past tours have highlighted Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. DC NiteE marks the return of host and DC native Joe Clair whose credits include; Def Comedy Jam, BET's Rap City and the McDonalds NBA campaign.
The Showtime on Sunset series has featured surprise performances by comedy's elite including Chris Tucker, Mike Epps, Robin Williams, Katt Williams and Chris Rock.
DC Nite will include performances by Def Comedy Jam's Dominique, Earthquake and Royale Watkins. Also performing are Red Grant, host of the Katt Williams Tour and Jay Phillips whose film credits include Semi Pro with Will Farrell and Baby Mama with Tina Fey. The event will also feature a live band playing the hottest DC Go Go music, Hip Hop and R&B.
The Comedy Store, home to comedy icons Richard Pryor, Roseanne Barr, Dave Chappelle and Robin Williams is located at 8433 Sunset Blvd. Doors open at 8:15. Performance at 9:00pm.
