Burnsville, MN, January 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Thumbuddy, an endearing and lovable thumbprint character that engages children, equips parents and excites educators is gaining momentum around the country.

ThumbPeople, Inc. has created the Thumbuddy children’s book series, a collection of music CD’s and Thumbuddy Club - an activity and preschool curriculum program. Thumbuddy communicates the message to children that just like their thumb leaves a unique, one-of-a-kind thumbprint, they are one-of-a-kind and their life leaves a unique imprint in the world and just as their thumb stands out from their fingers, they were meant to stand out and live outstanding lives.

Child educators are promoting the Thumbuddy series for its self-worth developing concepts and positive effects on children’s self image. Designed by a preschool curriculum expert, Thumbuddy Club consists of story time, crafts, music, activities and take-home bags. Suitable for before or after school programs, children’s library programs, summer programs, daycares, play groups and homeschooling. Two versions of Thumbuddy Club have been developed, Thumbuddy Club and Thumbuddy Club for My Church for both the secular and non-secular environments.

Author and ThumbPeople founder, Mark Arens, says “Children are hungry for the encouraging words within our Thumbuddy books and music. When reading Thumbuddy books to your child, replace Thumbuddy’s name with your child’s name so that they are affirmed by you that they are lovable, special, beautiful, gentle … We’ve made it easy for parents to build up their children with positive, life-giving words with our children’s literature, music and preschool curriculum.”

ThumbPeople, Inc., founded by author, Mark Arens, is a Minnesota based company located in the Twin Cities that produces children’s literature through the Thumbuddy book series. ThumbPeople, Inc. also produces nurturing music for children and adults. They have been recognized for their efforts in positive youth development in building self-confidence in children.
