South Coast Bayern Announced National High School Letter of Intent (NLI) Signings and Announcements
Members of the Cal South 2008 National State State Cup and South Coast Bayern Boys U17 Program announced their college choices at a Press conference on Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 at 1:15pm. Location: South Coast Bayern Office, 18141 Beach Blvd., #395, Huntington Beach CA 92648.

The Following members of the Cal South 2008 National State State Cup and South Coast Bayern Boys U17 Program announced their college choices.
Each of these South Coast Bayern players also attended the Northern Ireland, Milk Cup* in the UK.
1. Kameron Bechler (Upland HS), to Westmont
2. Enrique Cardenas (Palm Springs), considering UC Davis, and USD
3. Daniel Kohen (Beverly Hills HS), University of Wisconsin
4. Juan Martinez (Beckman HS), consideration University of New Mexico - Captain of Milk Cup Team
5. Erik Miller (Mission Viejo HS), considering San Francisco State
6. Joseph Pacheco (Riverside Poly), considering Temple University or UNLV
7. Edward (Fishy) Zepeda (Saddleback HS), considering UCI
* Jose Anguiano, captain of the Milk Cup Team is currently playing for Chivas USA at the Chivas Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico.
South Coast Bayern is a Southern California Soccer Club, non-profit organization that works with kids ages 6-18. South Coast Bayern also hosts the Bayern Cup, Bayern Cup International and Bayern Junior Cup, Presented by Disneyland and Quiksilver. The Bayern Boys team, coached by Vishtasp Farhadi, represented the United States as the highest youth club finisher ever at the historic Milk Cup in Northern Ireland in the Summer of 2008. Bayern is the only American Youth Club Soccer Team to make it to the Premier Finals (U17). The US National Team has been the Finalist of the Elite Section (U19).
Also announcing his NLI signing is SC Bayern Program volunteer, Christian Ramirez, a senior at La Quinta High School in Westminster, CA:

- Christian will also be honored at the upcoming 2009 Cal South Soccer Nation as the State Player of the Year for California South (Southern California)
Christian Ramirez for California South as the Player of the Year
1. ODP National Championships (Texas), (April 2008) - Golden Boot Award
2. ODP California South State Team Captain (4 years)
3. Represented Region IV in Italy (Spring 2008), Region IV is the Western Regional Team from 16 states
4. Leading Goal Scorer for California South in the Region IV Championship (Arizona, February 2008)
5. Won Super Group in Disney Showcase (Orlando, Wide of Sports Complex). (December 2007)
6. Agreeing to a scholarship to attend the University of Santa Barbara Gauchos
7. La Quinta HS, GPA 3.4
8. Interest in playing professional soccer and possibly attending Medical School
9. Intended Major - Kinesiology Major
10. Christian has three siblings: Sebastian who plays for SC Bayern Boys U9, younger brother Steven (3), and younger sister Manuella (13). Christian's parents are Juan and Elizabeth.
11. Christian is a member of the US Soccer Youth Development Academy

Inspired by professional soccer club FC Bayern, South Coast Bayern is a youth club soccer organization dedicated to providing a regional soccer program that fuels enjoyment of the game, develops soccer skills, and promotes integrity in young boys and girls. With more than a dozen boys and girls teams ranging from U8 to U19, South Coast Bayern offers a structured program that emphasizes discipline and sportsmanship. At SC Bayern's soccer club, family involvement is encouraged to help create a unified soccer community and support for the youth players. As players progress in skill and game understanding, expectations for team play can vary from player to player. Players are selected for teams based on age and a tryout process.
South Coast Bayern offers an empowering experience for all participants, with a focus on individual skill and awareness and developing players to their utmost potential. Club goals for our teams are to develop players who:
1. Show enthusiasm for the game and respect for fellow players, coaches and referees.
2. Exhibit growing understanding of the game, soccer etiquette, and rules of soccer.
3. Maintain a sufficient level of fitness and show consistent skill improvement.
4. Are committed to travel and regular attendance at games and practices.
5. Have a high degree of mental presence, focus and attention.
6. Have fun while improving skills.
