USA Today and NY Times Bestselling Author Caridad Pineiro releases Honor Calls, an e-novella in her successful The Calling vampire series.

Edison, NJ, February 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The successful and prolific Caridad Pineiro is basking in the rebirth of The Calling vampire series. Honor Calls, an e-novella now available at Eharlequin.com, is Pineiro’s twentieth novel and the ninth in The Calling Vampire series.

Novels in the The Calling vampire series have received numerous awards, including Catalina Magazine selections as the top fantasy novels of 2005 and 2006, Cataromance Best Nocturne 2006 awards and numerous other nominations.

In 2007, a year marked by seven releases from Harlequin and Pocket Books, Pineiro was honored as the 2007 Author of the Year by the New York City Romance Writers. Moon Fever, an anthology containing Pineiro’s Crazy for the Cat, was a USA Today and NY Times bestseller and her anthology with Maureen Child, Holiday with a Vampire, made the Bookscan Top 100 Adult Fiction list.

With over half-a-million books in print, Pineiro still finds joy in each one. “Every book is a new adventure for me and for my fans. It’s a joy to share the novels with readers and I’m always excited to hear from fans,” Pineiro says.

Readers will be pleased to hear that Pineiro will have three more releases this year. Fury Calls, the next novel in The Calling, will be out in March 2009 and is already garnering praise. RT Bookclub awarded Fury Calls 4.5 stars and said “Piñeiro infuses her vampires with very human feelings, making her paranormal story seem realistic. It’s a great read!”

In October, Honor Calls will be released in print as part of the Awakening teh Beast collection and in November, fans will be able to enjoy Pineiro’s romantic suspense Sins of the Flesh from Grand Central Publishing.
