Balsman Photography will showcase the exhibit “Portraits in Oil” by Gaynor Cooke Nelson. The general public is invited to attend this exhibit of fine art oil portraits.

Longmont, CO, February 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Balsman Photography will feature its first gallery exhibit from 8 to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 13th at its studio in downtown Longmont, Colorado. The studio will showcase the exhibit “Portraits in Oil” by Gaynor Cooke Nelson. The general public is invited to attend this exhibit of fine art oil portraits. The artist will be on hand to answer questions and introduce her works.

Gaynor Cooke Nelson is a classical painter in oil. She began her studies under the direction of master colorist Nance Honea. Gaynor is a founding member of the Portrait Society of America, a Member of Merit of the Portrait Society of Altanta and a founding member of the Portrait Alliance of the Rockies. Gaynor’s work, primarily of portraits, still life and landscapes, is proudly displayed in public and private collections throughout the United States. Gaynor resides in Longmont, Colorado.

Refreshments will be served during the exhibit. The studio is located at 612 Kimbark Street, just East of Main Street in downtown Longmont.
