Fresno, CA, February 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Swing Smarter Baseball Hitting Drills.com (SSBHD) is using 30% of the proceeds from each online hitting lesson to fund school related projects for poverty stricken classrooms, selected from http://www.donorschoose.org.

Each project has a deadline, the current project is to aid kids with disabilities needing help with literacy concepts, for a $165 total, and needs to be met by March 31, 2009.http://www.donorschoose.org/dono /proposal.html?id=247665&zone=0

SSBHD.com has teamed up with donorschoose.org to give back to those classrooms who're unable to engage in fun learning projects in low socioeconomic areas of the country.

How it works is: SSBHD.com chooses a project, posts it to the Swing Smarter website, parents/coaches purchase hitting lessons, and at the end of every week, 30% of the proceeds go into the project.

After a completed project, SSBHD.com then posts pictures/letters from the students to the site for all to see how much of a difference they made.

For the interactive online baseball hitting lessons pilot program SSBHD.com is offering a one month introductory offer of $14.99 for a 1 week session (ordinarily $40). "We love teaching the baseball swing, and want to help educate players and parents/coaches alike," says site owner Joey Myers, Fresno State Bulldog (2008 College Baseball National Champions) baseball alumni from 2000-2003.

"Unfortunately, there's a lot of misinformation out there on hitting, we want to educate, while at the same time, giving back to classrooms across the nation desperately in need of funding innovative learning projects."
