Cleveland, OH, February 12, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- Staff members at Susan Feniger’s new Los Angeles restaurant, STREET, will sport eco-friendly aprons painted with Krylon® Industrial Eco-Guard™ latex spray paint when the restaurant opens next month.
Eco-Guard is the industry’s only latex (not water-reducible) paint. It is extremely low odor with contents under pressure and an MIR-compliant formula, which make it the safest paint to use indoors, in any environment. Project organizers tried several other environmental spray paints and found that Eco-Guard was the only product that would work for their application.
The aprons were designed by Caroline B. Marx, costume designer for “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” in collaboration with Elisa Jimenez, a contestant on season four of “Project Runway.” Forty aprons from the new Chefwear® line of colored, organic culinary uniforms were used as the canvas for the hand-painted artwork.
