Ears Pierced on Valentines Day for $20, and Donating 10% to the Homeless

J. Rothstein Jewelers of Beverly Hills is offering Ear Piercing for $20 including 24K surgical steel earrings on Valentines Day. They will be donating 10% of the total to the homeless in downtown Los Angeles.

Beverly Hills, CA, February 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Janet Rothstein, owner of J. Rothstein Jewelers of Beverly Hills, encounters many homeless people in downtown Los Angeles - right in the Jewelry District. She even knows some of the regulars by name. They live on the sidewalks and behind alley dumpsters. Some have medical problems and no doctor.
They all need food and clothing, and for some, money for a room to stay in.

There are countless more homeless people, including children, living in cardboard lean-to's around Main Street.

J. Rothstein Jewelers is doing Ear Piercing for $20 and will donate 10% of all sales towards food and clothing for the homeless. If customers prefer to donate their own food and clothing, Rothsteins will accept and distribute the goods downtown. In exchange, customers will be receiving 10% off their ear piercing, jewelry, or services (repairs and appraisals).

If people can't come in on Valentine's Day, Rothstein Jewelers will be continuing this special 10% donation program through at least February 2009.
