About the Author
Peter Roche de Coppens has dedicated the last 50 years of his life to the study of spirituality, the awakening of spiritual consciousness, holistic education and holistic health. Prayer was the vehicle through which he was healed of a severe motorcycle injury that left him crippled when the best medical authorities of the USA, Italy, and Switzerland concluded that he would remain handicapped for the rest of his life. This was his introduction to another form of medicine and healthcare.

For the ensuing 40 or more years, he has continued to study, practice, and refine various approaches to prayer and to holistic health and wellness. Through his own personal experience, which changed the course of his life, he learned that the next great, “qualitative step” in medicine and healthcare is the integration of the spiritual dimension. With graduate degrees in sociology, anthropology, and psychotherapy, Dr. Roche de Coppens teaches at East Stroudsburg University since 1970.

He also taught at other universities including the Sorbonne University (Paris) and McGill University (Montreal). He now works as a spiritual and medical consultant for GUNA in Rome and Milan, Italy. He was also a Consultant to the United Nations. He authored more than 40 books, numerous articles and, since 1991, conducts a TV program, “Soul Sculpture”.
