Dblur, the developer of Software Lens™ technology, today announced the availability of a high performance 3.2Mp, ¼” , Extended Depth of Field (EDoF) camera module for mass production from Sunny Group, China. Sunny Group has already entered mass production and is incorporating the Dblur enabled camera module in numerous mobile phones.
Dblur’s technology enables smaller, low cost, high quality camera modules that feature an EDoF “all-in-focus” lens, enabling greater camera functionality including landscape image as well as macro images (from 15cm), business card scanning, barcode and 0.25mm and above 2D-QR code recognition.
