BJAC Announces New Intern Architect

Charlotte, NC, February 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dan Fields, principal at BJAC, pa (www.bjac.com), an architectural firm that offers professional services for specialized, complex institutional projects, has announced that Benjamin Ward has joined the firm as an intern architect. In this position, Ward will assist in the design, production and construction administration for higher education projects.

Ward brings more than four years of architectural and design experience to the firm, most recently working with a firm in Myrtle Beach, S.C. that specialized in high rise condos. He received his Bachelors of Science in design from the University of Clemson and his Masters of architecture from N.C. State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Young Affiliates of the Mint. Ward has been certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as a familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.
