Swedish Carrier Quicknet AB Selects TELES C5 IP Centrex Solution

Quicknet adds TELES IP Centrex to portfolio to bring advanced softclient, zero touch auto-configuration benefits to customers.

Berlin, Germany, March 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- TELES, the Berlin based Next Generation Networks and Access Gateway vendor, has won an important contract with Swedish service provider Quicknet AB to install a state-of-the-art IP Centrex solution which includes hosted PBX and ISDN replacement services for SME customers.

Reflecting on the successful conclusion of the deal, Quicknet's Managing Director, Jan Synnersten, explained: 'We were looking for a solution which would enable us to offer a complete future-proof end-to-end professional portfolio, and the TELES IP Centrex covered all of our feature requirements as well as being backed up with great service and support. I am now looking forward especially to progressing with the integration of legacy PBXs into the IP Centrex domains.'

The deal represents a great opportunity for TELES to demonstrate product functionality in Scandinavia; and for Quicknet's customers to profit from TELES advanced softclient portfolio and zero touch auto-configuration. Using integrated TELES VoIP-ISDN Gateways, Quicknet can also provide their customers with 100% ISDN replacement allowing an easy and cost effective migration to full IP functionality.

George Lunguran, TELES Regional Sales Director, was keen to emphasize the importance of the deal: 'By expanding our footprint in Sweden, TELES is starting to be recognized as a vendor at the forefront of NGN developments on the Scandinavian market. TELES is now in an excellent position to support both carriers and end customers with advanced NGN solutions.'

The TELES IP Centrex solution is a centralized fully managed telephony service for business customers which features web-based customer self-service. The IP Centrex maximizes infrastructure utilization through the convergence of voice and data, is scalable, and provides carrier-grade reliability and availability. In addition to a wide range of advanced and fully interoperable features, the IP Centrex also enables carriers and end customers to minimize OPEX and CAPEX by negating the maintenance costs associated with separate voice and data networks in addition to the expenses associated with equipment peering.
