Arlington, VA, July 11, 2006 --(PR.com
)-- Goda Software today announced shipment of Analyst Pro 5.3, the newest version of its project management application for software and systems development. The 5.3 edition includes enhanced requirements management, files and documents (repository), as well as an updated user’s guide.
What makes this announcement exciting is that this upgraded version of Analyst Pro really makes a project manager’s job of tracking requirements and specifications easier. Many software engineers and project managers use Word processors and Spreadsheets to track requirements. While better than nothing, that method is inadequate for project tracking and navigation.
Analyst Pro 5.3 simplifies the requirements management process by identifying requirements, navigating the relationships between project artifacts, and providing team collaboration. This robust application rivals more costly programs by establishing multi-dimensional linking between project artifacts such as designs, diagrams, test cases, etc. The 5.3 version also provides many integrated project management tools for baselining artifacts and tracing relationships.
The previous version of Analyst Pro (5.2), which was released December 19, 2005, was well received by the development community. The software was Jolt finalist in 2003.
