Tenrox Project Management Software Named CODiE Award "Best of Breed" Finalist in Two Categories

Tenrox has been chosen as a finalist in both the Best Project Management Software Solution and the Best Business Software Solution categories out of more than 850 nominations.

Glendale, CA, March 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Tenrox, the leading provider of on-demand project workforce management solutions, today announced that it has been selected by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) 24th Annual CODiE Award competition as a finalist in two categories: Best Business Software Solution and Best Project Management Solution.

Through a unique combination of journalist and expert peer review, the CODiE Awards recognize 71 categories of outstanding products and services. This year’s 345 Finalists represent an impressive array of technology and business excellence and success.

Nearly 190 judges encompassing tech trade journalists, consultants, educators, IT and product specialists, and other knowledgeable, yet neutral, experts have reviewed all of the products entered. Tenrox was chosen as a finalist for its current release, version 10.

According to SIIA President Ken Wasch, "The competition is particularly steep this year during the 24th Annual SIIA CODiE Awards, making selection as a CODiE Finalist a real achievement." Wasch further added that "All the companies on this year's list of CODiE Finalists should feel justifiably proud of their accomplishment in making it to this stage, and have much excitement to look forward to regarding the upcoming CODiE Awards voting!"

“We’re very happy to be named a finalist for such a prestigious award and being in two competitive categories makes it all the more exciting.” said Rudolf Melik, Chief Executive Officer of Tenrox. “This acknowledgement is a testament to the value that we bring to our customers and user community. Many of them have been turning to Tenrox as they realize that it is essential in today's business environment to deploy tools for managing dispersed teams, projects and customers using one system of record instead of manual processes, costly spreadsheets or patched legacy software."

After a successful 2008, Tenrox continues to differentiate itself by offering affordable innovative enterprise-grade software and services to medium and large-sized businesses.

Winners will be announced at the 24th Annual Codie Awards Gala to be held on May 5, at the historic Palace Hotel in San Francisco, CA. For a complete list of the 2009 CODiE Awards Finalists, please visit: www.siia.net/codies/2009/finalist_list.asp.
