ThumbPeople Ready to Inspire Educators at the Minnesota Early Childhood Educator’s Conference

Burnsville, MN, March 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Early Childhood Educator, Kelly Olson, will represent ThumbPeople and its goal to encourage the development of self worth within children at the 7th Annual Minnesota Early Childhood Educator’s Conference to be held March 13-14 at Concordia University, Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The goal of the Minnesota Early Childhood Conference is to expand educator’s horizons and provide information for the best developmentally appropriate practices for educating children from birth through age eight.

Kelly Olson, who has degrees in psychology and early childhood education along with twenty years of teaching experience both in the United States and internationally, will present ThumbPeople music, books and Thumbuddy Club preschool curriculum concepts. ThumbPeople has created the children’s book series featuring “Thumbuddy” – an endearing thumbprint character who communicates the message to children that just like their thumb carries a unique thumbprint, their life leaves a unique imprint in the world and just as their thumb stands out from their fingers, they were intended to stand out and live outstanding lives.

The positive messages within the Thumbuddy children’s book series, ThumbPeople CD’s and Thumbuddy Club preschool curriculum have been praised for their influence in instilling self worth within children and adults.

“Our goal for Thumbuddy Club, designed by a preschool curriculum expert, was to develop fun activities for children with a positive and encouraging message that was simple to facilitate. We’ve tried to think of everything - keeping the preschool leader’s preparation and planning time down to a minimum. It’s perfect for before or after school programs, homeschooling groups, summer programs, daycares, play groups, libraries or church programs. We’ve created two children’s book clubs - Thumbuddy Club and Thumbuddy Club for My Church making Thumbuddy Club welcome in any environment.” According to ThumbPeople spokesperson, Cathy Kirschner.
