Gamers Daily News Hosts Dejobaan Games Developer Diary

Developer Diary to follow Dejobaan Games AaaaaAAasaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! Project, exclusively on Gamers Daily News.

Red Bank, TN, March 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Gamers Daily News Media International (http://www.gamersdailynews.com) and Dejobaan Games (http://www.dejobaan.com) proudly announces the launch of the Developer Diary for their current project AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! in development for Windows PCs and set to release Q3 2009.

Starting Monday March 9, 2009, Gamers Daily News will host a bi-weekly Developer Diary entries from Dejobaan Games. Each session will give insight into the development process and follow the game’s progress as Dejobaan works toward releasing the title. “How can you not want to work with a company where the founder claims to have a giant jellyfish for a pet?” asked Gamers Daily News Editor-in-Chief, Christophor Rick, “plus the game really sounds like it will be fun and innovative (maybe a little sadistic and strange) and that's what we like.”

Dejobaan Games recently put their previous title, The Wonderful End of the World on sale to help fund the development of the new title. In Wonderful, you are a tiny puppet that grows with every object it gathers, you start out as a collection of jelly beans and marbles, and work your way up to a behemoth with fire engines for arms and the ability to absorb entire buildings. Mike Fahey from Kotaku wrote, "I swoon! It's PC Katamari Damacy on crack..."

The first entry in the Dejobaan Developer Diary at GDN starts with how the concept for the game came about.

At the end of January, they released video footage of a prototype which received over 60,000 views in the first week. Sites like Joystiq have gone as far as to anoint it "Title of the Year."

Gamers Daily News will also be hosting several other Developer Diaries in the near future as part of the Developer’s Corner initiative. “Giving voice to independent game makers is very important to us at GDN,” said CEO Wade Hinkle, “we hope that by hosting the developer diaries we can promote independent game development, raise awareness of their projects and support the industry in general.”

About AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!
How late can you deploy your chute before you end up a squishy bag of broken bones? How far can you trust your helmet's proximity meter before you splatter against a window like a bug on a highway? As you descend, you toss the spectators a thumbs-up -- or flip them off -- to boost your score. This is AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!, and it is scheduled for release in late 2009.
