Bretagne Telecom Selects Centile to Deliver Enhanced IP Centrex Services to SMEs and Multi-Site Business Customers in France

Based on Centile’s IntraSwitch© solution, Bretagne Telecom scales up the deployment of IP Centrex services.

Sophia Antipolis, France, March 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Centile, one of the leading European VoIP Application Software vendors today announced that Bretagne Telecom, the fast growing Breton alternative Telecom Service Provider, has successfully deployed Centile’s IntraSwitch© to deliver IP Centrex services to its SMEs and multi-site business customers.

Bretagne Telecom started offering IP Telephony services in 2003 based on an enhanced Asterisk platform. As the company’s customer’s base grows, a reliable and scalable carrier-grade platform with enhanced and innovative applications was needed.

Leveraging the advanced IP telephony services managed by Centile’s IntraSwitch© platform, Bretagne Telecom is now able to satisfy its business customers’ needs by offering extensive IP Centrex applications and introducing a full range of value-added and innovative services including rich PBX features set, as well as flash-based web self-care, audio conferencing, voicemail-to-email, auto-attendant, IVRs, ACD and CTI applications such as Click2Call, CallPad, and VoicePad.

Centile standard-based feature-rich platform with device certification and automatic provisioning has allowed a smooth migration from Asterisk installed based platform. In less than 2 months, Bretagne Telecom was up and running and the smooth migration of several thousands of users has been completed within less than 6 months from contract signature.

Nicolas Boittin, CEO for Bretagne Telecom reported: “After considering various solutions and technologies available on the market to replace our Asterisk platform, we selected Centile VoiP application platform for our IP Centrex solution. Centile really met our expectation and made a real difference in terms of platform’s flexibility, scalability, voice quality, value-added services such as innovative end-user applications and enhanced feature sets. Additionally, Centile “Pay As You Grow” model and certified interoperability with SIP-based third-party equipments including Dialogic IMG 1010 SIP-SS7 gateway as well as Snom and Polycom IP phones have eased the migration and integration.

Bertrand Pourcelot, Managing Director for Centile added: “Service providers like Bretagne Telecom, who have been initially successful with open source-based solutions and have reached the platform’s scalability and reliability bottlenecks for multi-tenant deployments are the ideal bread and butter for Centile’s IntraSwitch© solution. Our “Pay as You Grow” model coupled with a guaranteed scalability has also driven Bretagne Telecom choice. We are convinced that this move will enable Bretagne Telecom to strengthen its market position by delivering a high-quality IP Centrex service and introducing innovative additional features in the region and nation-wide.”
