Surface Consulting Completes the Exterior of Lutgert Home on Venetian Bay
Naples, FL, March 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Surface Consulting is pleased to announce its involvement in the completion of a prominent residence on Venetian Bay. Utilizing specialty stuccos that bring authentic European character to home exteriors, the Naples-based company recently finished the exterior surface of the luxury home built for Scott and Simone Lutgert.
Christopher O’Guin, President of Surface Consulting, worked with Herscoe-Hajjar Architects, BCB Homes, and the Lutgert’s to compose the home’s exterior surfaces and oversee their installation. O’Guin used special limestone stucco with carefully added patina to complement the limestone trim and impart an authentic grace to this new villa.
O’Guin says, “The technique creates the appearance of an authentically aged home and was the perfect finishing touch. It added an extra element of distinction and originality.”
Surface Consulting worked with architects to compose and install the color-through plasters. O’Guin Decorative Arts, where Christopher O’Guin works as Vice President of Product and Sales, composed and installed all the interior finishes.
O’Guin says, “The Lutgerts were very interested in providing guiding input to end up with exactly what they imagined. The project was challenging, but BCB Homes worked very hard to coordinate all the trades efficiently and protect the finished work. The whole team pulled together to make the result extraordinary!"
