LatPro Hosts April 16 New York City Career Fair for Multicultural Job Seekers

The third installment of LatPro’s National Diversity Job Fair Series will visit the Metropolitan Pavilion.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, March 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Diversity job board LatPro (www.LatPro.com) will continue its 2009 diversity career fair series with a multicultural event in New York City. Held in partnership with the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.NSHP.org), the job fair will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LatPro decided to return to New York City after hosting two highly successful New York City career fairs in 2008.

Jobseekers attending the 2009 NYC Diversity Career Fair will have the opportunity to network with fellow Hispanic professionals and local chapters of Latino organizations, in addition to meeting representatives from employers such as the CIA, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, NYSE, Boehringer Ingelheim, the U.S. Department of State and many more.

Admission is free for all job seekers. Professional dress is required. Jobseekers can pre-register at: http://network.nshp.org/events/new-york-job-fair

“The 2008 New York City Diversity Job Fairs were highly attended events last year, attracting over 2,100 jobseekers and many top organizations,” said Ricardo Villalba, Events Manager for NSHP. “Based on our consistent and overwhelming success of the events in this city, New York City topped our list of host cities again for the 2009 Career Fair Series.”
