###

…A brand without persistence is only a name. Today, White Box builders and System Integrators must complete an extensive suite of system engineering tasks ensuring a properly engineered final system. This includes system thermal verification, power supply/motherboard electrical integration, chassis I/O integration, product safety certification, and FCC/EMC compliance testing and approvals. North American governments have also introduced legislation requiring all computer products sold have the required safety approval certifications and safety mark labels. The time and costs in fees to do all this can cost 10,000 to 20,000 per model of computer. The Channel Computer Concept products have all had this engineering done. The customer simply performs a paper-based verification that the motherboard is approved for use in the specific Channel Computer product and that any optional customer cards and peripherals meet the basic component level requirements documented for the product. Then, once the White Box builder or System Integrator has assembled the final computer system, it is fully approved for product safety certification and FCC/EMC approval. There are no extra fees or tests required saving the customer significant initial costs to bring a new product to market.

In Win will be releasing the Channel Computer Concept products for desktop, server and industrial rack market places. The initial products will be based on In Win’s popular ATX mid-tower products and utilizes a new 80plus Silver level power supply. Other products to be released in Q2/Q3 include In Win’s latest small form factor mini-ITX systems. By releasing Channel Computer Concept products, In Win makes it quicker and lower costs for channel computer companies to deliver regulatory compliant computer.
