Local Wedding Planner Receives LUXE Award for Lincoln Wedding

Omaha, NE, April 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Omaha wedding planner, Angela Brant, of In The Details Events, was awarded the coveted LUXE Award for Best Nebraska Wedding for her orchestration of the July 2009, Thomasset/Stolee wedding, held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Lincoln.

The LUXE Award, which recognizes the elegance and luxury of an event, is the creation of Kansas City bridal couture owner and Association of Bridal Consultants Regional Coordinator Laura Mease.

The award winning reception took place at the Ridnour Room, located in the Haymarket District in Lincoln. According to Crystal Jaeger, Facilities Manager, every detail was taken care of by Angela and her team.

“Angela has a tremendous amount of knowledge when it comes to bridal parties and weddings,” says Jaeger. “I was amazed to see how hard she worked. She was always giving 110% to make sure that everything was perfect for the event. She took care of all the set up and decorating and everything turned out amazing and beautiful. She saw a lot of things that most people would’ve missed.”

Brant, who moved her East coast business to the Omaha area three years ago, has been receiving accolades from her clients and vendors alike for the unprecedented attention to detail, grace and elegance she brings to each of her events.

“Not long ago, a wedding consultant was thought of as a luxury, only used by the wealthy,” says Brant. “Today, a wedding planner is an essential resource for every busy, working couple. Especially in this economy, I am there to stretch every dollar. In the end, I not only orchestrate beautiful events, I save my couples money by negotiating discounts with their vendors.”

According to online resource The Wedding Report, Lincoln held more than 2330 weddings in 2008, at the average cost of $31,092. For In The Details Events to win the Best Nebraska Wedding Orchestration is a great honor for Brant.

“I am thrilled to be recognized by my peers for LUXE Award,” says Brant. “Planning weddings may seem glamorous, but I am more of a project manager than a wedding planner. The best part about my job is ending each day knowing that I helped my clients to be in the moment, and remain stress-free, to enjoy their special day. It truly is the most rewarding part of my job.”

“I think using a wedding planner definitely takes away a lot of the stress most brides feel,” says Jaeger. “I would definitely recommend Angela Brant to any bride looking for a wedding planner. I had a great experience working with her.”
