Toni Tierney Designs, Children's Fashion Designer to the Stars?

A photo of Tori Spelling's baby girl, Stella, has appeared in Us Weekly Magazine and in it she’s wearing an outfit designed by California children’s fashion designer, Toni Tierney. This comes only months after Jamie-Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie was seen wearing another of Tierney’s designs.

San Rafael, CA, March 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- When California fashion designer, Toni Tierney, was thumbing through the March 16 issue of Us Weekly Magazine, she was delighted to spot one of her creations on Tori Spelling’s baby girl, Stella.

Tierney’s company, Toni Tierney Children’s Clothing, was established in San Rafael, California in 1994. Her whimsical fashions are now available in more than 400 boutiques across the United States.

The dress sported by young Stella was one of Tierney’s sweet pink dresses with a striped ruffle on the bottom.

In November, a friend of Tierney’s pointed out that one of her designs was being worn by Jamie-Lynn Spear’s daughter, Maddie, in photos of the Spears family reunion which were appearing all over Internet gossip sites and in several magazines.

Tierney, a graduate of San Francisco’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising says, “It doesn’t matter that I’ve been doing this for almost eighteen years. Because a piece of my heart goes into each piece I design, it’s an incredible feeling to see my fashions being worn. When I see one of my designs on a celebrity baby in a major magazine, though, it really is a surreal feeling. The best part for me in both of these cases is that the babies were wearing my designs during positive moments with their mothers. It wouldn’t mean as much if the photos were accompanying negative gossip stories.”
