Staffelbach Names Individual and Collective Achievements

Nationally-recognized interior architecture and design firm, Staffelbach, is honored to announce the following achievements have been made:

Dallas, TX, March 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation has been achieved by Amber Carroll, Gero Temesvary and Rachel Mecum. LEED accredited professionals are those who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices, principles and familiarity with the stringent LEED requirements, resources and processes. This achievement distinguishes these professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process as is administered by the Green Building Certification Institute.

Amber Carroll is a senior project coordinator for Staffelbach. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001 with her Bachelor of Environment Design and has been a member of the staff since that time. She is based out of Staffelbach’s first satellite office in Austin, Texas where she just earned the opportunity as one of only fifteen people accepted by the Real Estate Council of Austin as a member of the 2009 class of the Leadership Development Council. Her client experience includes Capstar, Cushman & Wakefield, CB Richard Ellis and Marcus & Millichap.

Gero Temesvary is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He joined Staffelbach in 2005 and has amassed a broad range of project experience in programming, space planning, schematic design, design development and production. Temesvary also carries a strong background in information technology and computer systems integration complimented by a natural talent for visual graphics presentation. His client experience includes Frost Bank, HMS Holdings and Provident Asset Management.

Rachel Mecum originally joined Staffelbach as an intern in 2007 and, since then, has earned her Bachelor of Interior Design from Texas Christian University. A Plano, Texas resident, Ms. Mekum focuses on design project services ranging from field verification, space planning, product research, furniture and finishes to the procurement and implementation of FF & E programs. Her client experience includes Griffith and Nixon, CB Richard Ellis and American Airlines.

National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) standards were met and achieved by Myosha Maston and Shaun McKinney.

Completion of the NCIDQ examination recognizes that an individual has met minimum competency standards for the practice of interior design. NCIDQ's role includes the establishment of standards for education and experience and the administration of a minimum competency examination. Passage of the exam is a requirement for licensure in all NCIDQ member jurisdictions. The exam also serves as a qualifier for professional membership within interior design organizations and, for non-affiliates, represents a voluntary individual accomplishment. This achievement, and its accompanying certificate, identify the qualified practitioner; ensure recognition of expertise and assists development and self-improvement through the individual's understanding of a body of knowledge and a set of professional standards.

Myosha Maston joined Staffelbach in 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Ms. Maston focuses on design project services ranging from programming and field verification to product research, construction documentation and administration. Her client experiences include Verizon, JP Morgan Chase and Balfour Beatty Construction.

Shawn McKinney is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. He works in many facets including programming, space planning, schematic design and design development. His client experiences include CB Richard Ellis, Plains Capital Bank and American Airlines Center.
