Dallas Design Firm Retained by Texas University

Dallas, TX, March 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Nationally-recognized interior architecture and design firm, Staffelbach, has been retained by Texas State University for projects spanning “indefinite quantity and indefinite delivery” for the university’s San Marcos campus. This assignment names Staffelbach as one of three interior architect and design firms of choice for any and all projects that are to be completed within the San Marcos campus’ borders. The first project that falls under this “infinite” scope is an addition to the Family Consumer Science Building which is nearly 20,000 square feet in size. This retainer also includes Staffelbach as the consultant who will assist the University in writing the new standards for all finishes and furnishings that will be utilized from now and into the future.

Michel (pronounced: ‘Meesh – ell’) Hurst, NCIDQ, IIDA, TAID will assume project management duties. The scope of the work will include interior facilities planning, interior project planning and management, office space planning, move coordination and interior design services including LEED assistance and coordination.
