London, United Kingdom, March 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Legendary literary editor Diana Athill will be signing copies of her prize-winning memoir, “Somewhere Towards the End”, on Saturday, 4th April at the Borders Islington store from 12:30pm.

Diana Athill has worked with some of the biggest names in literature, including Philip Roth, Norman Mailer and John Updike. She also is an acclaimed novelist and memoirist and at 91, Athill became one of the oldest writers to win a major literary prize when she was awarded the 2008 Costa prize for biography. In the 2009 New Year Honours, Athill was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

“Somewhere Towards the End” has also been shortlisted for the Galaxy British Book Awards (GBBA) Author of the Year.
