Mathon Paris Considered “Best of” Colored Stone Jewelry by National Jeweler Magazine

Mathon Paris was named a finalist in National Jeweler Magazine's February “Best Of” Colored Stone Jewelry Contest.

Atlanta, GA, April 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With artful use of stones shaped into creatures of dragonflies, seahorses and frogs, Mathon Paris was named a finalist in National Jeweler Magazine's February “Best Of” Colored Stone Jewelry Contest. As a finalist, Mathon will be featured in an upcoming issue of National Jeweler, and will receive editorial coverage on NationalJeweler.com and National Jeweler's Daily News. Judges Lorraine DePasque of National Jeweler, Amanda Gizzi of the Jewelry Information Center and Victoria Gomelsky of Couture International Jeweler, based their decision on design objective, creativity, execution and results.

“The judges really loved Mathon, especially the color choice and integration into the gorgeous nature-themed pieces. The seahorse is absolutely amazing,” said Whitney Sielaff, editor of National Jeweler Magazine.

National Jeweler's “Best of” Awards, with twelve distinct contests throughout 2009, recognize the industry's most exceptional jewelry design and retailer marketing. The Colored-Stone Jewelry contest is the first in the product-design category for the awards this year.

Since its introduction to the North American market in late 2008, Mathon Paris continues to set the precedence of couture jewelry with an elite audience. Even with the recent economic downturn, the 77-year-old jewelry house continues to expand its presence in the United States. The Ring Tortue from the Lucky Animals Collection is a consistent favorite with retailers across the country.

Mathon Paris will exhibit for the first time in the US at Couture 2009.
