National Coatings Corporation Gets an A+

National Coatings wins the highly competitive LAUSD bid for cool roofing. Building on experience and knowledge from supplying Clark County School District (CCSD) in Las Vegas, NV, National celebrates the big win in the City of Angels.

Camarillo, CA, July 22, 2006 --(PR.com)-- National Coatings Corporation gets an A+ for winning the 3 year contract to provide Title 24 compliant cool roof coating to the Los Angeles Unified School District ( "LAUSD"). LAUSD is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California and the second-largest in the United States. For the past 6 years NCC has provided the cool roof coatings for Clark County School District (CCSD), the 5th largest school district in the U.S., located in Las Vegas. School districts and other municipalities know they can trust NCC to provide a premium product at an affordable price.

LAUSD’s Modernization and Repair Program encompasses 69 million square feet and more than 13,000 buildings. Over 18,500 projects are currently planned, under way, or have been completed. The average existing LAUSD school is 50 years old, for this reason, the district’s more than 800 existing schools are in need of repair and modernization. Most of this repair works consists of roofing, plumbing and air-conditioning.

Matt Kolb, President of National Coatings remarked that "It's no coincidence but rather by design that we have served the Clark County School District and now the incredible Los Angeles School District. This opportunity was just one more example of how National brings together our industry leading technology, sales and customer service to satisfy all of our customers needs."
