New Zealand Man Literally Puts Back on Line for Business Success

A young enterprising New Zealand business man is preparing to put his back literally on the line to make sure his company rides out the current financial storm.

Hamilton, New Zealand, April 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- “I’m willing to let the public decide on a word, which will then be tattooed on my back”, said 21 year old Scott Townsend, founder and operator of online t-shirt store Just Tees. The voting can be done on scottsbackisontheline.com and is he expects to draw and audience of millions of visitors over the coming four weeks.

The publicity stunt, designed to bring global attention to Mr Townsend’s online business, will revolve around a website where visitors are allowed to submit a word, any word, or vote for a previously submitted one. Once the site has collected one million votes in total, the word with the most votes will be permanently tattooed onto Scott’s back.

“I’ll probably end up with a pretty unsuitable word inked into my back, but I’m willing to take that chance if it gets my company the attention”, Scott said from his office in Hamilton, New Zealand. “As long as it’s a real word and a single word, I’ll get it on my back in big, nasty letters.”

Justtees.co.nz sells designer t-shirts of stand-out brands from around the globe to people who want to look good, feel great and be different. It has been featured on New Zealand radio and in online media. Started in early 2008, Just Tees has sold shirts to customers as far away as Germany and Paraguay.
