Colt Record's New Signing Enter Top #20 in Europe

Nashville, TN, April 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Colt Records of Nashville, TN is delighted to announce that their latest signing, Americana band OneDay40 (from Glasgow, Scotland), have burst into the European CMA charts at #15 with their single "Sad Cowboy". "We knew these guys had great material but this is a great early showing", said President J.K. Coltrain.

The ECMA charts are Europe's longest established country music charts, and are based on airplay from reporting stations around Europe. "We're excited, and grateful to all those DJs playing us, and fans requesting us" added OneDay40 founder John Naismith.

OneDay40 signed to Colt Records in March this year, having amassed quite a following throughout the United Kingdom and therefore looking for a channel to the US market. The band have just completed recording of the US edition of their album "Unfinished Business" (which includes the single "Sad Cowboy") for release in May, to be followed by a promotional tour later in the year.
