BJAC’s Dan Ludwig Earns LEED Certification

Raleigh, NC, April 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lou Jurkowski, chief executive officer at BJAC, pa (www.bjac.com), an architectural firm offering professional services for specialized, complex institutional projects, has announced that Dan Ludwig, project architect at BJAC, has been certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This professional certificate recognizes individuals with extensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as a familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

Ludwig designs and develops architectural drawings and specifications for higher education projects for the firm. He has more than 15 years of architectural and design experience, including eight years as owner of a firm that specialized in commercial, industrial, retail and religious facilities. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. Ludwig received his Bachelors of architecture degree from the University of Detroit in 1993, and has been a licensed architect since 1997.
