GreenLight has been named the exclusive third-party licensor to the Cash’s personality rights, including their name, image, likeness, signatures and characterizations used in advertising, promotions and merchandising.

Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash enjoyed celebrated partnerships in both their personal and professional lives, with tens of millions of their albums sold around the world. Johnny is considered to be one of the most influential international entertainers of the 20th century, performing hits including ‘I Walk the Line’, ‘Hurt’, ‘Man in Black’, and ‘Ring of Fire,’ which he co-wrote with June.

Johnny won several Grammy awards, was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame, Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame, and was portrayed in the 2005 award-winning biopic Walk the Line. June and Johnny passed away four months apart in 2003, and both had hit albums posthumously featuring previously unreleased music.
