Core Device Return in 2009 with What I've Become

New Jersey metallers Core Device come back strong with a brand new studio album.

Middletown, NJ, April 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Introverse is pleased to announce the return of Core Device. Combining precise, skilled musicianship, raw adrenaline and thought provoking lyrics, New Jersey's Core Device return in the summer of 2009 with What I've Become. Promising to exceed even the high praise received for their 2004 release Our Fellowship Eternal, What I've Become brings back the tight guitars, pounding drums and bass and the vocal harmonies, but with the benefit of over two years of writing and recording, the band delivers as close to the perfect metal album that they can, no half-measures or shortcuts.

Once again, the band consists of Daniel Dunphy on vocals and keys, Marty Walsh on bass, Patrick Kehoe and Tony Nocera on guitars and Tim Protsman on drums. However, being an in-house production, no take escaped scrutiny, no part made the final cut unless it was absolutely what the band wanted. The results can be heard on the first single, "Spiritual" now streaming on their MySpace page (www.myspace.com/coredevice) and ReverbNation page (www.reverbnation.com/coredevice) as well as their home page at www.coredevice.com.

What I've Become will be sold initially through the Core Device website as well as at upcoming shows, with more sales and digital portals added later in the summer. Further information can be found at the band's site as well.
