U-Freight Expanding in China

The U-Freight Group (UFL) - www.ufreight.com - is continuing to increase its presence in China through a range of strategic office openings and relocations that is working to consolidate its involvement in one of the world’s busiest and most important freight markets.

Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., April 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The developments place the U-Freight group in a strong position to ensure a high profile in the Chinese import and export markets. In China the company operates under a number of brands including U-Freight China, Shanghai Rijin, Dalian China Express and Shanghai Renaissance - each servicing different trades or types of industry.

Not only do these openings and relocations allow UFL to take advantage of what it sees as China’s second phase of economic and industrial development, it looks to these developments to allow it to increase its intra-Asian services into and out of China which it is confident can only improve.

Whilst Chinese exports have fallen heavily in the last 12 months, UFL points to the huge government stimulus package that is driving the economy. Whilst the beginning of year saw the economy growing at an annualised rate of around 6%, some optimistic forecasts, such as one from Goldman Sachs, assert that will rise to 8%.

Recent developments of the various UFL group members include:

Finally, in Shanghai a ‘super office’ has been created containing three key companies from within the U-Freight group in the city.

The Shanghai offices of UFL subsidiaries, U-Ocean, Dalian China Express and Shanghai Rijin have been brought together under one roof to secure an even better service for U-Freight’s Shanghai customers. Existing warehousing operations and locations remain unchanged.

In bringing together the three companies, UFL Has given a great deal of thought to how it can get this move right to deliver a super service. For instance, one measure it is taking is to group staff from the three companies by function, not company, in the new office. UFL believes this will facilitate and ease internal communication between its Shanghai teams and support the delivery of a first class service to its partners and customers.

The new address of the three subsidiaries in Shanghai is:
20/F & 21/F, East Huaihai International Mansion, 49 Huahai (East) Road, Shanghai 200021, PR China

General corporate telephone numbers remain unchanged:
U-Ocean: +86 21-6325 2289
Dalian China Express: +86 21-6421 2121
Rijin Shanghai: +86 21-6421 6688
