Ted Kurland Appoints Jack Randall Vice President of A&R

New position charged to develop exclusive projects and sign new artists.

Boston, MA, April 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to expand his agency's reach, Ted Kurland has promoted current Midwest and West Coast agent, Jack Randall, to also handle the duties of Vice President of A&R for Ted Kurland Associates.

"Jack has been very instrumental in the growth of this agency," noted Mr. Kurland, "not only with bringing in new artists, like Pete Seeger, but also conceptualizing and creating exclusive projects for TKA like the recent Blue Note Records 70th Anniversary Tour, which yielded a critically acclaimed album and a national tour of over 50 concerts."

In addition to booking the West Coast, Midwest, and Western Canada, Randall will head up efforts to sign artists and develop new touring projects.

Jack Randall started in the music business at AOR radio station wwww-FM in Detroit around the time they hired a new morning guy by the name of Howard Stern. Jack later worked for Prism Productions in Ann Arbor booking and promoting national acts The Pixies, The Replacements, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Soundgarden into clubs before these "alternative" acts became mainstream headliners.

Jack eventually moved to the East Coast where he was a successful agent with Concerted Efforts before joining Ted Kurland Associates in 1996 where he became an integral part of the creative team representing their premier roster of world-renowned artists.
