Medical Billing Association Chooses Dodge Communications

Healthcare marketing agency to provide Healthcare Billing and Management Association with PR, marketing support.

Atlanta, GA, May 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dodge Communications, a public relations and marketing agency serving the healthcare industry, today announced it has been selected by Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA), a trade association for third-party medical billers, to work on a strategic communications plan.

Dodge Communications will provide HBMA with healthcare marketing and public relations support through a variety of tactics, including updating HBMA’s messaging and analyzing the search engine optimization of the association’s Web site, along with public relations writing and media relations efforts to drive awareness of the HBMA brand and increase the association’s visibility.

HBMA is a non-profit, member-led trade association representing third-party medical billing firms. Members of HBMA process claims on behalf of physicians and medical providers. The association works to improve the business of medical billing through promoting cooperation of business resources, working with federal agencies to create policies that work with the medical billing industry, and encouraging the continued education of members through seminars, publications and online forums.
