New York, NY, May 04, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- Workspeed Management LLC, a leading provider of web and wireless real estate operations applications, announced today its agreement to deploy Workspeed InfoCenter solutions for Behringer Harvard.
Workspeed InfoCenter is a commercial real estate management web portal that helps property managers communicate and collaborate with current and prospective tenants. The InfoCenter solutions will be deployed at selected properties owned and operated by Behringer Harvard, a Dallas-based commercial real estate company with more than $6 billion in assets under management worldwide.
Current plans call for the roll-out of Workspeed InfoCenter portals at 16 Behringer Harvard properties this year, with additional portal deployments slated for 2010. Selected Behringer Harvard properties have previously deployed three Workspeed solution modules including Service Request, Preventative Maintenance and Visitor Management.
“We’re constantly evaluating smart strategies that have the potential to further enhance our operations and the value we provide for our tenants,” said Gerald Oliver, senior vice president of property management at Behringer Harvard. “We view property-specific web portals as enhancements to our communications with existing tenants and complements to our sales and leasing programs that can make it easier for us to connect with prospective tenants.”
Kent Barner, senior vice president and chief information officer at Behringer Harvard, explained further. “Our existing Workspeed systems have been well-received by our property management staff and their customers. When it was time to expand our workflow automation capabilities with the deployment of web portals, Workspeed’s proven performance was a primary motivator for our selection of Workspeed InfoCenter.”
Workspeed InfoCenter provides an online solution that centralizes the tenant communication process while allowing property staff to reduce editing, printing and delivery costs. Full integration with the Workspeed Service Request and Visitor Management modules allows for easy and secure electronic management of work orders. Using InfoCenter, property managers can quickly and easily organize and control the content for their tenant portals while strengthening their brand.
“Our clients value our total commitment to excellent customer service while providing industry leading software and technology essential in helping them work more efficiently,” said Derrick Chen, chief executive officer of Workspeed. “Behringer Harvard is one of Workspeed’s distinguished clients, and we are thrilled to extend our expertise and generate real value for Behringer Harvard’s property management staff and clients.”
