Free Search Engine Marketing Seminar

WSI will be conducting a free, educational seminar on June 17 at their Ahwatukee office. The listing on the search engine results pages will be explained and the pros and cons of paying for either of these, from a business owner perspective, will be discussed.

Phoenix, AZ, May 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Most successful small businesses now have websites. But unfortunately it’s not like in Field of Dreams where, “If you build it they will come.”

Maximizing search engine results requires a bit of knowledge about such things as the difference between “organic listings” and “sponsored links”… search engine optimization and key words. (Huh?)

“It can be a huge waste of time and money if you invest in a website but nobody shows up to see it,” says Kathleen Ion, Internet marketing expert. Ion will present a free community event to learn about getting the best results from your website.

“I want to be clear that this isn’t some ploy to get people in the building then ambush them with a sales presentation,” Ion says. “There will be no sales pitch, just a little helpful information as a way to help my neighbors.” She says some people may see that they need a more aggressive internet marketing plan, but some may just gain a few good techniques to increase traffic to their sites as is.

“There are so many businesses that have huge success (even in this economy) via their internet efforts,” notes Ion. “Some of those include local dentists, auto body shops, movers & storage, restaurants, car dealers, plumbers, fitness clubs, lawyers, carpet cleaners, caterers & cosmetic surgeons. We’ve all learned that we can find these services quick and easy online.” But if your business isn’t popping up in easy view on Google or other search engines, Ion says consumers are likely to overlook you.

“Our revenue has doubled this past year thanks to the Internet Marketing strategy that Kathleen has implemented for us," says Chris P., of Six Star Limousine Service in Ahwatukee.

This one-hour seminar on June 17 at 5:30 pm will be limited to eight to ten people on a first come basis but if there is strong interest, Ion may make these free instruction opportunities available on a regular basis. She will also teaching these concepts this Fall at the Chandler Gilbert Community College, Continuing Education.

The free seminar will be held at 4425 E. Agave, in Ahwatukee. The only requirement is advance registration. For more information or to register contact Kathleen Ion at (480) 205-7029 or email kion@wsimarketing.com. To learn more about Kathleen’s business visit www.wsiimsolutions.com.
