Super Termite Found in 2 Central Florida Locations

Pro-Staff Termite and Pest Control is offering free Termite Inspections for the Formosan Subterranean Termite, which has been dubbed the Super Termite.

Orlando, FL, May 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Pro-Staff Termite and Pest control announced they recently found a species of termite in Central Florida known as the Formosan subterranean termite, which has been called the “Super Termite” because of its large colonies and its ability to consume large amounts of wood in a relatively short period of time.

Normally not found in central Florida this species of termite is especially voracious and can consume as much as 13 ounces of wood per day.

Formosans are typically active in the evening and later in the year (May – June), than native termite species.

The Formosan queens can produce 1000 eggs a day.

Once established in their nest, colonies can live without direct soil contact.

Pro-Staff Termite and Pest control has the arsenal to defeat these invaders.

Call today to get a Free Inspection by Pro-Staff Termite and Pest Control before the Super Termites get to you.
