Freehold, NJ, April 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI), Freehold, one of the fastest growing orthopedic practices in Monmouth County and Middlesex County, is holding an open house for its new Advanced Joint Center, a satellite office of AOSMI, at 312 Applegarth Road in Monroe Township, N.J. The public is invited to tour the facility, meet the doctors, and enjoy refreshments April 17, 2009, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

According to Dr. Michael J. Greller, president and managing partner of AOSMI, the doctors of AOSMI decided to expand their services for the convenience of their many patients who live in Monroe.

Dr. Alan Nasar, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in joint replacement, says that all the medical information and documents, such as digital imaging and clinical records at the Freehold offices of AOSMI, will be instantly available to doctors working at the Monroe office.

"The Monroe office is a seamless recreation of what we offer in Freehold,” says Dr. James Cozzarelli, who was instrumental in designing the new office. “That feature had to be in place before we could consider a satellite office; otherwise, a van would have to drive back and forth all day carrying records and X-rays.”

Medical services offered by AOSMI's Monroe office will include sports medicine, hand and wrist care, shoulder and knee care, joint replacement, physiatry, fracture care, osteoporosis care, spine care, foot and ankle care, and work injury care.

Dr. Greller expects that in the next few months, AOSMI will offer additional services at the Monroe offices, including a podiatrist and a physician specializing in pain management. All the doctors at AOSMI, who are privileged and on staff of CentraState, will hold hours at the Monroe office, including surgeons Gregg S. Berkowitz; Manuel T. Banzon; James Cozzarelli; Michael J. Greller, the managing partner of AOSMI, Grigory Goldberg, Gerardo Goldberger, and Alan S. Nasar.

According to Dr Berkowitz the new Monroe location will serve Jamesburg, Englishtown, Manalapan, Hightstown, Cranbury, East Windsor, West Windsor, Monmouth Junction, Plainsboro and Princeton.
