MG Hardie Nominated for Two Afr’Am Literary Awards

The award committee received nominations from across the country for this esteemed recognition. Author MG Hardie has received two nominations.

atlanta, GA, May 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- MG Hardie and his often called controversial book EveryDay Life have been nominated for two Afr'Am Literary Awards. Hardie's book EveryDay Life has been named The Best Kept Literary Secret of 2008 and has received some truly amazing review. EveryDay Life has sparked controversy by not conforming to usual literary conventions. His book has people talking and asking questions such as, Who is Black? What is Lust? Who is in charge of our foreign Policy?

EveryDay Life has been called “A slice of African-Americana”, “Hilarious” “Brilliance”, “Deeply Intellectual”, “Raises Critical Issues”. The Afr'Am Literary Awards has nominated EveryDay Life in the Street/Urban Lit & New African-American Voice Categories. The Southeastern Virginia Arts Association (SEVAA) has been celebrating African-American arts and culture for more than 25 years. The winners of each category will be announced at a special Literary Award Gala during Afr’Am Festival slated for Labor Day Weekend.
