Paris, France, May 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SMS Dispatch Manager is an intelligent tool that sends out network alarms as SMS directly to the systems administrator’s mobile phone. Unlike other SMS solutions which use Internet Gateways to send messages, SMS Dispatch Manager is entirely autonomous of the monitored network as it is connected directly to LoriotPro and uses a GSM modem. This means that even if the network completely crashes, SMS Dispatch Manager will still continue to function and send out updated alerts.

An “acknowledge” response message is required to ensure that the alarm has been received and that the issue is being treated. Failure to respond within a specified time triggers the sending of another SMS to the next recipient on the escalation recipient list. This ensures that all pending alarms are treated in a timely manner, thereby reducing downtime.

This tool was developed with the goal of allowing network managers greater freedom in their work as they are no longer required to spend all their time seating in front of the computer screen for fear of missing an alarm.
