The business partners behind the company Alex Knowlden (32) and Ben Davies (36) have sold 500,000 Wrappz units in their first year and their company is now set to smash its second year turnover target of £1.5 million after striking deals with huge multi-national companies such as Disney, Nickelodeon, T-mobile, Sony, BT and the BBC. It all goes to prove that with the right idea and product it is possible to generate incredible profits whatever the economic climate and many businesses could learn a great deal from Alex and Ben’s passionate ‘can do’ approach.
The dynamic pair met 14 years ago through playing football when Ben was the director of Vinyl Printers and Alex was a property developer. After falling off a scaffolding unit in Spain, Alex suffered a brain haemorrhage and decided during recover to follow his dreams and start his own company. There was no one better for Alex to go into business with than best friend Ben who has never let the fact he turned Kate Moss down for a date when they were teenagers they decided to start Wrappz.com in and the rest as they say is history.
