Carolina Crossroads Announces that Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day Concert Will Be Alcohol-Free

Family Friendly Day Will Feature a Variety Of Events

Roanoke Rapids, NC, August 09, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Carolina Crossroads has announced that the August 19 concert featuring multi-platinum contemporary Christian artists Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day will be alcohol-free. The two artists will perform at an outdoor summer concert at the Roanoke Rapids music and entertainment venue.

“We want to make sure that this concert and related activities are something that everyone can attend and enjoy,” said Michael Dunlow, president of Carolina Crossroads. “While we usually offer the alcohol-free Family Zone, we decided that this time, the entire venue would be that way for this show.”

The day will begin with the 14th annual Ducky Derby, hosted by the Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at River Falls Park. Gates to the concert will open at 3:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $20 for lawn seating, $25 for gold seating and $35 for platinum seating. Groups of 50 or more attendees receive a $5 per ticket discount.
