Rio Salado Pop Warner Football & Cheer Fall 2009 Registration

Tempe, AZ, May 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Rio Salado Pop Warner Football & Cheer will be holding June registrations for the upcoming fall 2009 season. The June registration dates will be June 6th & 20th at the Tempe Fire Training Center at 1340 E. University Drive, Tempe, AZ (University & Dorsey).

Flag football ages are 5 - 7 years and tackle ages are 7 - 15 years. Players are assigned by age, weight, and boundaries. Children learn the fundamentals of football, how to work as a team, make new friends, and build confidence. Tackle players have the chance to compete in the Pop Warner National Championship Game in Florida.

Rio Salado Pop Warner will also hold its 3rd Annual Rio Salado Football Camp on July 20th - 30th at Crismon Elementary in Mesa, AZ. This camp gives players and parents an opportunity to meet coaches, board members, teamates, and learn new fundamental skills of football.

Registration Costs for June are the following:

Flag Football: $95
Tackle Football: $175
Cheer: $125
Camp: $30

The following items are needed for registration:
- Parent or Legal Guardian
- Official Birth Certificate (copies not accepted)
- Proof of Residence (gas, water, or utility bill ONLY)
- Copy of 2008 - 2009 full report card
