Orlando, FL, May 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Florida publisher Maxwell Rutherford has announced a beta version of Smashed Ink Magazine--the new high-energy arts and entertainment authority. The magazine is to serve as the editorial voice for unique publishing opportunities for musicians, painters, and writers. The staff wants to engage and initiate the reader into exploring the world through creative expression.

“We are very excited about our premiere issue,” said Rutherford. ”We are fortunate to have received contributions from established writers and artists.”

The premiere issue is June 1, 2009, featuring original fiction, poetry, and art. The magazine is actively seeking all genres of writing with the only qualification of, “it better be good.”

Smashed Ink welcomes new emerging musicians. Signed artists and non-signed alike are encouraged to submit their work. Rutherford said, “we feel that new artists are out there, and sometimes, they have the talent but lack the voice, especially in indie. But we're not limiting to just that. We just want it good.”
