Los Angeles, CA, June 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, owner, author and creator of Pawfriendly Landscapes was a guest on Animal Wise Radio on Sunday, May 31 at 11:20 am MDT. Animal Wise Radio is dedicated to the human/pet connection and discusses both domestic and wildlife animal issues. Animal Wise welcomes a large array of guests to discuss various topics. Its hosts, Beth Nelson and Mike Fry discuss various topics which are available in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Noon - 2 PM - KYCR, AM 1570, and streamed live at www.kycr.com; Hastings, Minnesota Noon - 2 PM - KDWA, AM 1460, and streamed live at www.kdwa.com Phoenix, Arizona, and Surrounding Communities.

Elizabeth was approached by Beth Nelson to discuss to their audience how they can create pet friendly yards since Pawfriendly Landscapes creates pet friendly landscape designs nationally. Elizabeth addressed many issues during the segments, including how to prevent dog urine from killing plant material, including sod and how to beautify yards based on dogs' habits - both good and not so good.

Elizabeth explained, "My company, Pawfriendly Landscapes, does not use shock collars because they do not enhance landscapes. Dogs' habits add interest to yard whereas shock collars are cruel." She continued, "Many plants that are dog deterrants actually add year round interest to yards, including specific evergreens, barberrys and pyracantha."
