The Jones Company Completes Previously Foreclosed Homes

Nashville, TN, June 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Jones Company just completed the construction of 13 previously foreclosed and incomplete homes in Riverwalk, a community in Bellevue where they had already built over 100 homes. These homes were left incomplete due to the bankruptcy of Prestige/Corinthian Homes. As a result of the bankruptcy, American Securities Bank approached The Jones Company to step in and complete the building of these homes and they agreed to do so.

The Jones Company worked with engineers to look at each house from top to bottom, including slabs, frames, foundations and more to insure the final product is a quality home. They have been finished at the same feature level as originally planned.

American Securities Bank owns the homes and will be purchasing a 10 year structural warranty, as well as a 1 year builder warranty, for the homebuyers through a third party warranty company.

The marketing of the homes is being handled by TJC Realty, LLC (The Jones Company’s Realty division) and a licensed Jones Realty sales agent, Jennifer Jones, is responsible for showing & listing the homes on MLS. Sales prices on the homes have been set by the bank, and are listed as they were previously in MLS.

“We were very pleased to step in and complete these homes and are grateful for all the positive comments we have received from existing homeowners,” said Richard Chapman, president and partner of The Jones Company. “Everyone seems to be happy to have these homes completed and we are thankful to have an opportunity to further our commitment to making Riverwalk a great community to live in.”

In addition to these previously foreclosed homes, The Jones Company is also building their new “Green” homes on lots that have been empty there. The company launched their “Build Green to Save Green” initiative in the fall of 2008 after spending 18 months developing the comprehensive program.
