Burbank, CA, June 08, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- Alternative metal band My Private Hell has been forced to push back the release date of their highly-anticipated EP to a later date due to the confusion over the release date with online retailers. This unexpected change will delay the release date until a new release date can be set in stone.
My Private Hell has issued the following statement:
“We are deeply sorry about pushing the album back again. We did not plan on this and did not foresee this unexpected discrepancy. It’s always an obstacle course. We are currently re-formulating the plan and will have a concrete date sometime soon. We are as equally perplexed by this change but understand that these things happen. Thanks everyone and see you at the shows!”
A new release date for Suicide EP has yet to be determined. Physical copies will still be available at the band’s shows after the original June 9th date.
6/20 - The Knitting Factory (Opening For Filipino Rock Heroes Slapshock) - Hollywood, CA. - $35 per ticket.
6/27 - Que's Bar & Grill - Alhambra, CA. - $10 @ the door
In other news, a new song has been added to the My Private Hell official myspace: http://www.myspace.com/myprivatehell. Sundalo is the first track that the band has added before the release of Suicide EP on June 9th, 2009. Sundalo is a free download recorded especially for fans and new listeners before the real deal hits the streets.
The brand new album was recorded in Alhambra, Ca. with engineers Francis Buckley and Dan Heck at the helm. Although the recording was done in a short period of time (3 days, 21 hours), My Private Hell went in and got it done. Re-mixing duties were handled by the band.
Following the EP release, My Private Hell will support the EP by playing shows where there's a stage and a microphone. My Private Hell is currently searching for media exposure, promotional opportunities, distribution deal, licensing opportunities and a label they can call home.
